Executive Chef  Tully Wilson

Executive Chef Tully Wilson, a native Tennessean, is only 26 years old, but don’t let his youthful appearance camouflage his vast knowledge of the food world.  He began experimenting with recipes while still a preschooler.  When he was only 12, Chef Tully spent that years’ holiday season decorating Christmas cookies in the pastry kitchen of the Opryland Hotel.  At just 16, Chef Tully traveled alone to New York to attend a grueling week long “Career Discovery Program” at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.  The experience only whet his appetite more for a career as a culinarian.  Upon graduation from Lebanon High School, Chef Tully returned to college in New York and graduated with a Culinary Arts degree in 2004.  Chef Tully has worked with Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando,  Clipper Cruise Lines and O’Charley’s Restaurants.
In 2007, the dream of owning his own restaurant became a reality when Chef Tully opened his Bistro in Hartsville.  Tully’s Bistro, an elegant chef based dining and catering facility, is situated in an over 200 year old log French Victorian home.  Exquisitely adorned with original oil paintings, a visit to Tully’s Bistro is sure to be a visual, as well as, a palatable treat.
In conjunction with the Bistro, Chef Tully embarked on a catering business.   In the short period of time since its inception, Tully's Bistro has become the go to location for unique catering ideas for everything from holiday parties to baby showers and weddings to anniversary celebrations.  Recently, Tully's Bistro was selected by the Education Department of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center to be the ongoing caterer of the Arts & Appetizers program.  Chef Tully provides to TPAC patrons a Broadway show inspired buffet.
Already, accolades have been bestowed upon this young entrepreneur.  In 2009,  Chef Tully was chosen as one of "Nashville's Top 25 Celebrity Chefs," as voted on by the March of Dimes of Middle Tennessee.
Guy Fieri, host of the Food Network's "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives," brought his  Guy Fieri Roadshow to Nashville and chose Chef Tully to be his opening act for the show - thus showing off another of Tully's many talents - entertaining an audience!
Chef Tully has also appeared on television, including segments in the television shows "Tennessee Crossroads,"  "Live Green Tennessee" and Sara Moulton's "Sara's Secrets."  Chef Tully even danced in the streets of his Hartsville hometown in the music video, "Dancing Feet."
Yes, Chef Tully has many talents, but none compares to the one he entrusts to his love of food and his need to create - cooking.
